Canberra-born indie pop artist Oliver Vickers wants to fully embrace every part of himself - the good, the bad and the plain weird. Growing up in Australia’s most deliberately ordered city, Oliver felt alienated by his rigid and stoic surroundings. Sensitive, impulsive, and unapologetically himself, music became a way to embrace the chaos and make sense of alienation.

Oliver blends singable pop melodies with the intimacy of singer-songwriter storytelling, creating melody-driven music that celebrates the messy and the raw with humour and heart. His sound is vocal-forward and melody-driven - real instruments and catchy hooks mixed with a touch of strange. Through his music and performances, Oliver brings the drama and point-of-view of big, contemporary pop acts like Chappell Roan, Conan Gray and Olivia Rodrigo to smaller stages, creating performances that are both intimate and emotionally-charged.

At the core of Oliver’s artistry is a belief that failure isn’t weakness, but human.
